Founded January 27th, 2009, High Definition was made with the intent to become one of the best Mario Kart Wii teams on the planet. Whether or not we reached that goal is very debatable, but regardless, we have reached something greater. High Definition is now a Nintendo Gaming Community - we play Mario Kart, Smash, Pokemon, some PC games together, etc. Our roots come from playing Mario Kart Wii however, so the MK franchise in particular is one that holds a special place in the team's heart. We still play in competitions occasionally, so feel free to challenge us to a match!

What has made us stand out against the crowd is simply the dedication of our members. Many teams like to use the quote "family" to describe them, and it always looks like it's a little cheesy, or just a word used to try to make them look good. Here, it's 100% real. Some statistics - over 60% of the members clan have stayed for over 3 years now; 90+ percent of members have never been a team longer than they've been in HD; and over 10 of our active members have participated in at least 500 clan wars with our team. The records we set may not all be the stuff recorded in leagues; however, they will be the ones you remember well down the road because of the fond memories you'll have.

The goal of HD is to provide a different experience for our members than they'd get from other gaming teams - through memorable game sessions, discussions about life, and new team memes popping up every other week. Since we have a rather large amount of members however, we are extremely selective on who we take in now, so admittedly, it will be very difficult to join. If in though, we can promise you one thing though - the best team experience you could ask for, one that'll likely end your team search permanently, and one that you'll want to give back to as well.
